Goldseekers GDX-8000 Metal Detector
SETA stands for "Smart Electronic Timing Alignment" and is what brings a total of six timing options to the GDX-8000. Each timing option is suited to different detecting conditions and allows you to automatically set a precise alignment for each of the six options. Noises that are caused by magnetic interference are minimized in each of the six timing options, which provides a more stable threshold and reduces signals from highly magnetic (hot) rocks. Each timing option can be independently operated adjusted and operated for more efficiency – alerting you to the smallest, most deeply buried nuggets.
The best part is that the GDX-8000 is still a “Multi-Period Pulse Induction” metal detector and combined with the new SETA technology, this machine is stronger and more versatile than any other. Improved features include quieter operation, louder target signals, improved discrimination, automatic functions and pre-set search modes.
Six pre programmed search modes:Easy switch detection. All six search modes can be modified and renamed using your favorite settings.
Ground balance:Turn off neutral soil. Ground balance is useful for very benign, low mineralized or salt saturated soiks.This setting also applies to treasure hunters or relic hunters in loam or sandy soil.
Target volume:Enables you to enhance the strength of softer target signals. This is useful for windy people, hearing impaired people, and adjusting the volume when using external speakers. This can also be used to provide audio enhancement in mild soils and to smooth ground noise signals in highly mineralized soils.
Iron rejection:It becomes easier to detect in high waste areas such as old mines or campsites. The "iron reject" function will allow you to set the required recognition level from "cautious" to "aggressive". Detect in areas previously ignored due to the amount of black garbage and find the treasure below!
Stabilizer control:In noisy conditions, lowering the stabilizer control will provide you with a smoother threshold. Under quiet conditions, adding stabilizer and weak target signal will be more obvious.
Built in amplifier:Hear the soft target signal from the deepest buried gold nugget! Lithium ion battery pack has built-in amplifier to enhance your target signal. The amplifier design combines the use of high-quality and low-noise components to ensure clear and fast signal response. Background buzzing is not allowed!
Backlight:This function is one of the most needed functions of gdx-8000, so that you can read the LCD menu in any light (day or night). It also has an adjustable timeout function to extend battery life.
